I have been taking photos since I was about 15, when my parents gave me my first Canon AL-1. Throughout highschool I was the yearbook photo geek. I did not shoot as much during my college years and rekindled my love of photography after borrowing a friend's camera during a trip to London in 1999. During law school, I began to more seriously pursue photography, particularly after a trip to Yosemite National Park in the Spring of 2000. After moving to the D.C. area in late 2000, I began looking for places to exhibit my work and occasionally sold pieces at various outdoor markets in Arlington.
